1959 Green Bay Packers Program (Graded 7.0) Vince Lombardi's First Game RARE
This is a historic Green Bay Packers program. It’s from Sept. 27, 1959 and marks Vince Lombardi’s first game as head coach of the Packers. The program is graded CGC 7.0 (Very Fine) and encased in a sturdy plastic. The Packers won this game 9-6 over Chicago as Jim Taylor rushed for 98 yards and scored a touchdown. Paul Hornung kicked the extra point and also ran for 61 yards. The Packers defense added a safety. This was the first-ever game between two Hall of Fame coaches – Lombardi and George Halas of the Bears. This program is very hard-to-find and in this graded condition (7.0) might be one of a kind.
