1960s Thorp Leather Duke Football Green Bay Packers Game Used Bears. This rare gem skipped town from Milwaukee to Chicago and now is back. This is attributed to the Packers who used to play the Bears each year in the Shrine Game and used these balls in the 60s when under the lights at Milwaukee County Stadium. I searched for some pics of night games and included a few that show the white striped balls. This ball obviously was not only game used but has wear/patina including the white stripes worn off on much of the ball. While far from minty, this is very rare specimen.
